Mesothelioma is lung cancer that is found in its malignant stage. Mesothelioma cancer develops due to inhaling the dust particles coming from the asbestos fiber. Generally people involved in the industry dealing with day to day exposure to asbestos are prone to this cancer. It is a cancer symptom of which are found in its latter stage called “malignant Mesothelioma”.
Mesothelioma has two stages. First stage being the “beginning stage” and second the “malignant stage”. In the beginning stage the Mesothelioma tumor is not cancerous. If the Mesothelioma symptoms are ignored it becomes cancerous and then it cannot be cured. The later stage is known as malignant Mesothelioma. Usually there is no evidence of Mesothelioma detected in its first stage. Hence it’s a deadly disease.
It develops due to inhaling polluted air. It can only be cured if its detected in its first stage. Detection of Mesothelioma cancer in its early stage is not negligible since it does not reflects any symptoms as such. In the malignant Mesothelioma stage the cancer spreads in the nearby lymph nodes hence the evidence can be easily detected in the tissues.
Common symptoms of Mesothelioma are infections in bronchitis and pneumonia, chest pain, suffocation, loss of appetite, weight loss, short of breath, bone pain, non-stop coughing, and high-fever without known reason. Mesothelioma may also spread to the surface of the skin. It may also cause neurological changes, jaundice, dizziness, numbness, and weakness. Mesothelioma becomes cancerous over a period. People having Mesothelioma cancer hardly survive for two years in malignant stage.
